Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Your seat is secured by group bookings we pay for up front, so our refund schedule follows two payment deadlines.

Deposit

A $500 deposit secures your seat. The deposit is fully refundable until August 1 in the year prior to tour departure. After that date, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Tour Fee

The Graduation Tour fee is $3,870 and excludes airfare. Origination books all group flights; airfare will be invoiced separately at the time of booking.

Refund Schedule

When You Cancel Tour Fee Refundable?
On or before Jan 16
First payment deadline
Tour fee refundable; deposit refundable only until Aug 1 of the prior year
After Jan 16 50% non-refundable and non-transferable
After Apr 24
Second payment deadline
100% non-refundable and non-transferable

Initial I understand tour fees become 50% non-refundable after January 16 and 100% non-refundable after April 24 for the applicable tour year.

Waiting List

If you are notified by email that you are on a waiting list, your tour fee is 100% refundable until you are notified you have been accepted. Once accepted, the refund schedule above applies. The waiting list is available only until January 16 for the applicable tour year; after that, participants must either commit to a tour with availability or request a refund.

How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to info@myorigination.com stating that the participant will no longer be attending the tour.

Dismissal & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

If a participant is dismissed for misconduct, transportation home is at their own expense and no refund is issued for missed portions of the tour. If the tour is delayed or prevented by causes beyond Origination's control - including fire, strike or labor stoppage, war or insurrection, pandemic, public disaster, flood, bus failure, acts of God, or the elements (hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes) - no refund of the deposit, tour fee, or other costs will be issued.

Code of Conduct

Tour Rules & Code of Conduct

Every participant on the Origination Graduation Tour agrees to the following:

  1. 01Participate in all bus activities.
  2. 02Show respect to chaperones and leaders.
  3. 03Follow the buddy system at all times and never be alone.
  4. 04Respect hotels and their guests by obeying the curfew and noise rules set by Origination.
  5. 05No vandalism or theft. Either results in immediate departure home at your own expense, with no refund.
  6. 06Zero tolerance for alcohol, drugs, or substance abuse, including marijuana or misused prescription drugs. This results in immediate dismissal from the tour.
  7. 07Be punctual and return to the bus at the designated time.
  8. 08No pairing off romantically. No kissing, hand-holding, or back rubs.
  9. 09Dress modestly at all times; Sunday dress is expected on Sundays.
  10. 10Live up to the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
  11. 11Use electronic devices only at times designated by Origination.
  12. 12Come with a desire to learn from and feel the Holy Ghost. You do not need to be a scholar, and you do not need to be perfect - you just need to be willing.

Inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from the tour. Transportation home will be at your own expense, and no refunds will be issued for any missed portions of the tour.

Initial I have read and agree to abide by the Origination Tour Rules & Code of Conduct.
